Since I moved to Wayne County I make it a point to attend the fair, small town fairs are so much different than the county fair that I grew up with. A lot less likely to get mugged in Wayne County. Tell her to just keep on working on her poise, talent and interviewing techniques. Most of the girls really win based off of the scoring in those areas. Have you gotten any rain out of Hurricane Humberto yet, or are you still dry? It looks like the gulf coast is getting soaked, but I didn't know if you were on the northern edge of it or not. We've talked about entering a goat or vegetables, but just never have the time. Our fair is new, only about 3 years old and there is very little participation except in a few categories.
